The innovative teambuilding event soapbox building and soapbox racing also benefits a charitable cause, because the soapboxes are subsequently company property and can be donated to a charitable institution, a school or an SOS Children's Village. Any event location in Linz, Salzburg or Munich, for example, is suitable for the construction.
What does the Montée Soapbox Event in Salzburg, Munich and Linz offer?
General Information
The wood of the soapboxes for the teambuilding event is untreated from the surface.
All parts are prefabricated, pre-sanded, drilled, countersunk and provided with dowel slots. The price includes all necessary assembly materials such as screws, glue and dowels. Necessary tools and decoration materials are provided by Montée for the soapbox construction.
The soapboxes are suitable from a height of approx. 1.50m - 1.90m and a weight up to approx. 115 kg. The front part is raised to approx. 34 cm and corresponds to shoe size 45. The backrest is adjustable by means of 3 steps. In total, the soapbox is 140 cm long.
The stick brake of the soapbox for your teambuilding event is a 35 x 35 mm "stick" made of plywood, which is fixed under the base plate between the driver's legs and below the handlebar. By pulling the billet up, it pushes on the road and brakes.
The steering is called "cable steering." On top of the handlebars is a spool on which a few turns of cable are wound right/left-around. Then it goes over eyelets to the axle. The whole thing can be adjusted via a tensioner in front of the axle.
Race mode for the soapbox race
If the assembly is to take place outdoors, we recommend appropriate tents as sun & rain protection.
Depending on time and track size, different training runs, preliminary runs and final runs, if possible as a head to head race, are completed for the teambuilding event.
