The storyline highlights the milestones of human history and visions of the future, guided by a Montée tablet app development with texts, photos and videos. The 20 team tasks range from the 20,000-year-old African Ishango mathematics bone, to Egyptian hieroglyphs, the medieval inventive spirit of Leonardo da Vinci, to industrialization, electrification, digitalization, global networking, CSI tasks, all the way to modern physics, wormholes and future developments. Decisive is collaboration: communication, role distribution and teamwork.

How the mobile Escape Game Box 4.0 works
The mission tasks take place around the Montée high-tech box / case with gadgets and tools. Depending on the setting, the game is carried out indoors or outdoors – also hybrid on request (e.g., with online dial-in for individual participants). Everyone is involved at the same time: no spectators, no “one person solves – everyone else watches.” The tasks are designed by Montée team events in such a way that several people have to work on them in parallel in order to solve the 20 code puzzles.
The playing time per team varies from 1 hour to 2.5 hours – the total duration including briefing is a maximum of 3 hours. Another advantage of the Montée Escape Game Boxes 4.0 is the absolutely flexible options: depending on the weather, playable outdoors or indoors at any location in Europe, in German and English.
Goal of the "Future Mission"
Each team plays for a 4-digit numerical code that can be used to crack one of the combination locks of the Company Treasure Box. Only when all teams have solved their code puzzles can the treasure chest be opened. The contents of the Treasure Box can include future directions, new products, or the company’s guiding principles in the form of a final puzzle and/or goodies, give-aways, LED ice cubes, Mozart balls, etc.
20 high-tech tasks – with real spy gadgets
Inside the box, 20 varied tasks await: from logic and code puzzles to interactive high-tech challenges. Depending on the mission (version 2.0 approx. 1 hour and version 4.0 approx. 2 hours), tools such as metal detectors, laser projectors, power banks with LED code fans, UV lamps, sensors, a cryptex, a tablet, CSI aids and more surprises are used. This trendy “Mission Future” team game was developed by us in such a way that at least 2–5 people are needed to solve the individual tasks and code puzzles, making it a true team game.
